The American Revolution was about the patriots going against Great Britain. Great Britain had the biggest army on the world at that time and the Americans had few soilders, almost no uniforms, barely any guns, gunpowder, and ammunition. Also, luckily the Americans had gottan the French on their side, so the French gave Americans, more guns, ammunition, uniforms, gunpowder, soilders, and food.So then at one time, while the Americans were havin a battle with the British, They British were retreating back to their ships, but then the French came in with a fleet of supplies and took out their ships, so then the British had no choice but to surrender to the Americans.
