History of the first Civilizations in ancient China was thought to be the capital of the Xia Dynasty. it is the first dynastty of China. It was founded in 2100 B.C. and ended in 1600 B.C. Until archeologists dug at Erlitou in the Henn province, many scientists were not sure if the Xia Dynasty was real or a myth. the last king was Jie who was said to be cruel and greedy. be was defeated by T'ang, king of the Shang people from the east.
