President Jackson forcibly removed the Cherokee from Gorgia to relocated them in Oklahoma.

President Andrew Jackson assigned "Indian Territory" in the Oklahoma area, causing many Cherokee tribes to be uprooted from their homes and land.  The Indian Removal Act resulted in the Trail of Tears along with much tension between Native Americans and the government.
