Changed segregation.

The Brown v. Board of Education was taken up by Thurgood Marshall. This banned segregation in public schools. The court had been hearing many arguments before this. There were about 21 states that had segregated schools. There was a very stong resistance to integration from these schools. Many of the schools that tried to integrate were closed. Shortley after this came to Little Rock Nine case.
